I was just reminded of the second funniest single incident (for me) in the BizWire debacle. (First funniest cannot be divulged, but you know what it is.) Remember I did a cOUSIN SHORTY piece on it? And I put it up on SI? It was an interview with "Phyllis Teenie" of BatGuano Wire. Well, I subsequently found out that one of the people at BW took major umbrage at the piece. Seems her name was Phyllis, and she did not like the piece. Jill removed the post and sent me a rather acidic PM about it. Anyway, I found out later that nobody got the joke, not Jill, or anyone else, except for one person inside SI, who shall remain nameless. Now, knowing the definition of this word... dictionary.com ...I had a very good laugh that BW made such a big deal about getting that "offensive" post removed from the site. It still makes me laugh!
