Dale, re Compaq developing with Sledgehammer, There is so much animosity between Compaq and Intel that the only way they will not be onboard is if there is a major purge of Compaq (or Intel) upper management by the time Sledgehammer launches. That ended when Pfeiffer left. Let's see if Compaq even comes out with an Athlon based server when the "MP" comes out. BTW, I understand AMD is using the term MP for their upcoming 2 ways. MP has come to mean > 2 way in the X86 world (OK, Intel world). AMD seemed to have been following the terminology, generally. Now, they go against the tide. Just an observation. Tony
