Jim and IJ: Thanks for the kudos. As you are both veteran biotech investors, you don't need this reminder. However, there may be newbies wandering into the thread. So........ INVESTING IN ANY DEVELOPMENTAL-STAGE BIOTECH INVOLVES EXTREME RISK. Ralf is correct..... there is significant downside risk in NBIX. If you can't put together a basket of leveraged stocks like NBIX, then you don't belong in biotech! The competent biotech investor looks for his BASKET to appreciate, not any particular stock. The really good ones among the competent pick a higher frequency of winners than losers. The best of those among the competent still have losers, and not one of those will be able to tell you with certainty that NBIX isn't going to crash and burn. However, it belongs in my basket.
