No, my positions are not fixed. If you can show me any sound reasoning that would indicate the bible is the word of an evil God, then I would accept that. Conversely, regardless of the reasoning I put forth, you ignore it as being irrelevent to the TRUTH which you believe, not on the basis of sound reasoning, but on the basis that you read a mixed up, contradictory, and ugly tribal document that CLAIMED it was true.
So again, I have no fixed position, and I do not have the TRUTH. I am willing to be guided by reason and to reconsider my beliefs as a result of applying logic to available facts. You DO have a fixed position, and it is neither based on sound reasoning nor amenable to it.

SORRY. When you claim you possess ABSOLUTE TRUTH, then you claim it as a part of you. You cannot possess ABSOLUTE TRUTH unless you are God. Only God, if She exists, has that capacity. Every part of you is severely limited: your sight, your hearing, your brain functioning, your comprehension of IDEAS. You do not possess ABSOLUTE TRUTH. You are perpetrating a fraud on top of a delusion.

I don't know what assumptions you are referring to. Pedophilia refers to the wish or act of having sex with a child. Many people were and are married as children, and of course they have sex under God's watchful eye. Unmarried sex between an adult and a child is considered wrong in most cultures. Generally, each contry, state, culture defines the age or conditions which allow sex between people. Individuals, of course, should never act worse than the rules and regulations they live under; but they may often act better. I, personally, have a more reasonable moral code than the State so my behaviour is moe rational. I consider any behaviour which hurts or uses another to be morally wrong.
Morals based on reason accessible to all, rather than on the ignorant and subjective commandments of whatever cockeyed government or religious priesthood is in power, are certainly bound to be more principled and objective than the latter.
Objectively, there is little suport anywhere for Pedophilia. However, if we dismiss with reason and compassion and consult a SUBJECTIVE source such as the bible, we then (predictably) find that it is encouraged by God.

Moses tells them to kill all males and all females other than virgins. Why does he want "the women children?" Well, the "for yourselves" is a clue to the perplexed.
