Oh. I don't think you are going to like this because it is authoritative, but this situation is covered in my religion. If an enemy is trying to get information from you that they could use to hurt you or your people you are permitted to lie and it is not seen as wrong. It is the one exception mentioned. I don't consider it an ambiguous situation, there is a very clear and powerful "breach of trust" qualifier. Although, before I knew this I might have struggled with it.

I can imagine struggling with a situation...I do it all the time. I must have been feeling over confident the day we were dialoging because I should have made that clear. I still don't believe in moral ambiguity (even if I am too dumb to see the clear course to take in a particular situation). I definitely feel tested with struggles on a daily basis.
