As I recall.. when Athlon was first introduced.. large OEM support was slow to develop.. it took smaller tier OEM's and DIY'ers to push the product.. and when this combined with acceptance from the gaming community.. that was when the large OEMs followed (if my eventsof recollection are wrong.. feel free to correct me)

I feel AMD is in the same situation with the server market.. acceptance may be slow initially.. it will have to be the smaller tier server guys who offer AMD as a product to get the ball rolling... if the benchmarks do well and the performance is stable.. .then larger OEMS will follow suit..

Anyways... 1% market share initially is better then no market share and no competing products... this is a start.. AMD has to keep at it and chip away as it did with Athlon
