A quick scan of the list shows a lot more insider sales in April than in any other month on the list. The CEO is just the tip of the iceberg. Same for KLA-Tencor. In the past I have found that buying when I see a clump of sales like that is not a good idea. These people don't have a crystal ball, but they know when their stock is richly valued. biz.yahoo.com biz.yahoo.com For some reason Applied did not have a glut of sales during that period.
