I don't smell a V-shaped recovery, either -

...given what I'm seeing with wide-spread layoffs in the technology sector, flat earnings, rising fuel prices, stagnant mortgage interest rates, reduced infrastructure/web expenditures et across-the-board expense cut-backs, decimalization and slow summer trading.

though, it could simply be my stuffy lil nose
