We are free to buy or not buy the services of the oil company as we see fit. There is no gouging. On the other hand, we have no choice (not involving a stent in jail)when it comes to federal income taxes. <<I would think that in a free country one should be able to vote on an issue as important as this.>> I think freedom implies the owner sets the price not the buyer.
