June 9, 97 BioCentury report has a column on page A3 about Myotrophin. In their article they say a patient campaign is putting pressure on FDA. Sen. Orin Hatch has joined their cause.

Hatch wrote to FDA saying, "It seems to me that there is an occasion here to provide patients with a drug they need at no risk to public health, and I hope the FDA will be able to seize that opportunity.".

FDA Myotrophin meeting is scheduled for mid-August.
