When I first became involved with Westell in 96, they were noted for the T1 equipment. They couldn't make certain product fast enough to supply the demand.

Gary S. decided DSL was the wave of the future. Lets devote all our resources toward making a group of products that will shine in the DSL future.

Well a lot of us are still waiting for that true future to appear. It looked like it was about to happen just before Telecom DSL release went belly up late last year. It looks like the RBOCS saw softening demand coming. Heck, you can almost pinpoint the day that happened by checking when Westell stock peaked in the 30's last.

This company has a lot of potential in it. If you put DSL on the side, look at the other products it has, The acquisition of Teltrend, Overseas market, and Conferencing Plus along with the backing of certain private investment, this company IMHO should be trading higher than it is.

Westell: you need new leadership and a reality check.
Your engineering has always been the best. DSL is not the only heart button out there. When you realize this, your stock will be trading back in the 20's and 30's.

P.S. I'm not against DSL, I worked on DMT ADSL. It is truly the wave of the future! I'm still waiting.

Bruce K. are you really retired???
