The backpedalling: Dale said: I didn't think anyone would take this seriously. It was intended as a hint to those who took my comments about Fujitsu, NEC, and Siemens too seriously AMD could have a very strong showing on June 4, but it could also be virtually a noshow. Because of the potential for Intel to put large cache Xeon processors on allocation to vendors adopting Athlon 4 for DP servers, it is probable that tier 1 vendors will either adopt Athlon 4 in unison or not at all. .
