A few pieces of news worth watching. "Cell phone sales target to ring true " news.cnet.com This bodes well for the flash business. "Microsoft, corporate friends push new Office" news.cnet.com This, along with coming release of Windows XP, will help PC upgrade. These two are really blown-up computing hogs that need fast CPU and a pile of memory. Here comes the IFs. If PC demands picks up after Q2, if flash stabilizes later this year (the wild card is still the telecom/network gear, which is still in a $hit hole), and if XPs do sell in the holiday season, I will shoot for AMD EPS $1.75 in 2001 and $3 in 2002. My AMD target is $50 in Q1'02 and $90 in Q1'03. WOW! panic BTW, I don't know what can drag this market back to bear hug now. Enlighten me.
