what's a 'currency vigilante'? in a world where only fiat currencies exist and the only potential warning siren is manipulated by CB lending, there is no such thing imo. and 'promises on gold that doesn't exist' we still have aplenty...since the gold lending results in the same gold having two owners.

tying money to any govt. statistic makes no sense in regard to this question - as he says himself, the stats aren't kosher, and never will be. the money printers will NEVER be honest without a standard that is outside of their influence, be it gold or some other form of fungible commodity. the facts speak for themselves, and loudly: since the Fed was created in 1913, the dollar has lost 97% of its purchasing power. who says that that's a desirable state of affairs?
