Since Jeb could hardly have been counting on the black vote, and the contractor made the mistakes, I doubt it has "legs"..... "The contractor did it" is not going to wash, Neocon. The county election officials tried to tell Katherine Harris' office for two years that the scrub list was unusable, and it was plain that she could care less. Nor could poll workers contact the elections office to correct mistakes. This was a very visible fiasco. And then, Democratic activists have not forgotten the whole punch card ballot fiasco. Do you realize that in majority black districts an average of 10% of the ballots were tossed? Try telling them it was an accident. The danger for Jeb lies in the strength of his opponent's turnout, particularly since it's a midyear election.
