For the record the following are taken from AMD’s financials and show that since AMD’s Operating Gain declined significantly.

6/30/00 Revenues $1170437 Operating Gain $250251

9/30/00 Revenues $1206549 Operating Gain $262844

12/31/00 Revenues $1175172 Operating Gain $195028

3/31/01 Revenues $1188747 Operating Gain $167019

Operating Profit has declined from 9/30/00 to 3/31/01 by $95825 million or 37%. All this happened before Intel got aggressive on prices.
