RE: Recession... My father is a truck driver - hauls cars to the ports in Houston and Jacksonville to be shipped overseas. I was chatting with him last week when he pulled into the port at Jacksonville and all of a sudden he started laughing... He said he has NEVER seen so many new cars just sitting around. Parked in empty lots, fields, anywhere there was space to put them. "As far as the eye can see" is a quote, if I recall correctly. I also noticed yesterday that a local Ford dealer had a heckuva lot of new pickups parked in a parking lot across the street of the dealership. Zeev: I wonder if the US might enter a recession a little earlier than next year? CW
