Hi RTS,

mostly I use some of the things which Clint has mentioned in the thread long time ago... they are;

1) spikes down/up on low or high relative volume (esp. if I see in some of the strong groups, I usually go long for bounce of atleast 5%)
2) Critical support areas (MA etc)

but more important the gut feeling (yep.... still I have those and trust them). However, I sleep better when my gut feeling and the fundamentals support that view. Since, I have ton of patience and will some times go both short and long (mostly I sell the time premium to others when the position is going against me) on the same stock to make it worth my time.

Time and time again WB's statement comes to mind "For short term market is a voting machine but a weighing machine for the long term"

Later,

Suresh
