Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon...

Loved it, saw it as soon as it came out .
My father was like many who came back from
the pacific in WWII , and brought back a love
of asian art, motif and decor. So I am at
home with much that is Eastern/Asian.
(We had bammboo grass-cloth wall-paper and pictures of Samurai and geishas on the walls of our home , when growing up ...the coffee table was beautifully handcarved teak, always mysterious to me )

Got many here on SI to go see it as well , and
you can't say enough about the scenes shot up
in the midst bammboo treetops .
Breath taking cinematography , and who
hasn't dreamed of flying like that ?

But more important , a good vehicle for there
to be much more understanding promoted of the
Asian peoples and myths and stories ,
and their great reverence
for Truth that equals anything that
was born in the West .

Just people/souls like all the rest of us ...
