One persons (my) opinion:

HDTV will require high end MPEG encoders and high MPEG decoder.
Cube is well positioned to produce such product. They have the technical know how and have participated with others in driving the HDTV specs.
Currently CUBE has no MPEG Encode/Decode offerings for HDTV,
(nor does anyone else).
Thats years off though.

They are positioning themselves for DVD. In consumer and PC products. Over the next 45 days this should become clear.

They just introduced a new class of Digital Video product for the PC, the MVP.

They are the enabling technology provider for DBS, VCD, DVD.

Digital Video is going to be huge.

Outlook on stock price?
Higher over time as Digital Video really ramps up. None of this 4mm/per Quarter VCD crap, I mean really ramps up.
Go check Dataquest and others reports on Digital Video. Estimates put the market at 10s of billions dollars at the turn of the century. If Cube only gets 10% I'm quite happy. Digital Video is rolling out slower due to a number of factors, but it's inevitable. This year has been dissapointing but it's a blip in the longer scheme of things.

If your looking for a quick trade go elsewhere.

There is no other company as focused on Digital Video as Cube is, period.
