Thanks UUpU. That was an interesting find. It shows our Fibre SAM in a "joint venture established to produce" fiber optic cable in the Middle East. Could it be that this is another of Fibercore's takeover prospects? And who is Royle Systems? Do they have their "own" manufacturing plant somewhere, too? And if so, might they be a takeover target of Fibercore? One thing is for certain. . . with $260 million in backlog, and the company running at full capacity now. . . they will need to make some acquisitions or build some factories.

If/When they do, their stock price will no doubt take a temporary dump. . .since they would be spending cash and/or stock. . . . but should move forward when the reality kicks in that their capacity has improved.

So Fibercore is making fiber optic cable in Europe, South America and the Middle East. . . .now they need to get that Asian plant going. . . and span the globe. And frankly, at this point. . . staying OUT of the American market has been the right move. They showed virtually no effects from the American Technology Recession of 2000/2001. . . [which I maintain was brought on by inexperienced CEOs running scared and pulling back too hard on the reigns at the first sign of an economic downturn.]

Finally. . . why has FiberCore chosen to not release this Middle Eastern joint-venture to the press and to the public? Or did they release it somewhere other than via a press release?

Thanks again,

Rande Is
