That's Israel's BIG PR snag at the moment: public opinion the world over is witnessing a garrison-state fully equipped with up-to-date military gear (F-16s, "Robocop" troops, surveillance UAVs, gunboats off Gaza's shore, howitzers, etc) struggling with a crowd of Palestinian youths and their debilitated leader who's barely in better shape than Pope John Paul II.... For the Israelis to cast Arafat as a dreadful bogeyman is not just a joke, it's a disgusting disgrace.... It's as if the FBI branded an old Native American as the US's #1 Public Enemy! How many Americans would buy such crap?
