Ish,

I knew that GFI plugs were necessary for switches that are close to sources of water in the house, but didn't realize that a GFI circuit breaker was needed so far away from the appliance it serviced. I saw GFI plugs, and switches in Texas, but never did see a circuit breaker like that.

Yeah, the romex is 6 guage. That's pretty thick wire, and the romex is over an inch in diameter. There must have been about 8 wires inside the covering. Just guessing, of course.
