Why didn't NZRO take advantage of the AOL price hike to at least stimulate conversions? If a free month of ad-less service had been offered to all comers on the heels of the news, it would have given some AOL subs an opportunity to switch before another billing cycle hit their pockets. Perhaps more importantly, however, such an e-mail offer to NZRO's 8,000,000 dormant accounts would certainly have helped attack the burn rate.
