Jon, I finally sold my NYSE position. I will not enter into any more NYSE positions with Datek. What happened is clearly different from what you have described.

I placed an order to sell a stock at 20 1/2, when the quote was 20 3/8 x 20 1/2.

Subsequent to placing my order, the offer ticked up to 20 5/8. It should not have been possible for the offer to tick up to 20 5/8 with my unfilled order on the book.

My order finally sold only when the bid went to 20 1/2.

I am not asking for anything unreasonable like a guaranteed fill of a non-marketable order.

All I am asking for is representation in the market, as you claim to offer. The offer should not print above my offer without an execution.
