Griffey was fun to watch. No matter what I was doing I would always stop and watch Griffey at bat. I really have no problem with Ken, although IMHO he is a very spoiled child.

Now A-Rod I really never thought was that good of a player. Granted he hit 40 home runs and stole 40, it never really happened when the game was on the line. It was always when the game was out of reach one way or another. Then he had the year of free agency and he was telling the Mariners one thing and doing another. He and his agent are what is wrong with pro sports. Too bad the Rangers are what, 20 games behind now.( How does it feel to play on a winner A-Rod.)
A little history.
He goes down to Texas and he is coming back to Safeco Field for the first time since leaving the M's. I believe at this time the Seattle fans will maybe boo a little bit and then get on with the game. What does A-rod do? He writes a letter to Boeing that he moved to Texas and Boeing should also. Now the first game of the Seattle-Texas series is Boeing appreciation night. Needless to say those Boeing employees were on Alex big time.
But he has 252 million and I don't
Of all the players that left, Randy Johnson's loss hurt us the most. He is a warrior.
Have a good weekend
Don
