Checkmate Electronics(CMEL) update:

After attempting to reach the company for three days, I issued a statement
to the company's Investor Relations answering maching:

"This is Rainier Trinidad.

I am heading a discussion panel on Checkmate Electronics on the Internet's
larget stock forum, the Silicon Investor, which currently has over 60,000
active members.

I have been trying to contact the company for three straight days now in
order to learn of any possible adverse business developments that are being
negatively reflected in the company's stock price.

However, your company's inability to promptly respond to such inquiries is
both postponing me from reporting my findings to the discussion group and is
raising suspicions as to the validity of certain rumors now being spread
about the company.

This will be my final inquiry, and I will interpret the absence of a reponse
as the company's unwillingness to address the concerns of current and potential
investors in the company. Again, my number is ...."

Forty-five minutes later I received a phone call from Investor Relations.
She said that the company will issue a statement to address recent concerns
at 4:00pm ET at the market close. I had decided to save my questions until I
see the contents of the release. Afterwards, I will ask them again for further
details about company operations. Stay posted for further updates.
