I abhor violence and the killing of Israeli civilians saddens me greatly.

But perhaps we should ask what kind of despair drives people to kill themselves in suicide bombing attacks. Does not the bible honor Samson who sacrificed himself to kill a large number of Philistines? And we must never forget that the vast majority of civilian victims in the Middle East these past decades have been Palestinians and Arabs. Including over a million Iraq civilians dead from US sanctions.
