M, I couldn't agree more. The tax-to-the-max spendaholic Demolibs in Washington State are setting up a society of clearly defined rich and poor. They're doing their level best to drive the middle class out of the city of Seattle.
Boeing's recently announced departure is a harbinger of things to come. As long as King County liberals keep electing radical leftists who see only one solution to everything, raise taxes and increase government spending. We will continue to see a decline in our quality of life.
The schools are in serious disfunctional status, the traffic congestion is one of the worst in the nation, energy costs are skyrocketing, quarterly we have a riot or mini-riot due to incompetent management of our police forces break out, and the tax rates just keep going toward the sky.
And what is tax-to-the-max Ron Simms answer? Tax some more. What is the bureaucratically controlled governors answer to education? Raise taxes. What about traffic congestion? Raise taxes, What about energy costs, raise taxes and control prices through government mandates.
Unfortunately, we are witnessing the destruction of a once beautiful great American city before our eyes, due to decades of Democratic liberal politics.
The dot-com tech boom helped us ward off the negative economic effect for a decade. But, if we're aren't careful, Microsoft might choose to leave, and take with it hundreds of thousands of high paying jobs.
