I am on record for gold getting close to $300 in 2001, but not breaking it. $300 is higher than the current price, so that is positive.

Also, on April 21st, I changed my position on gold stocks predicting a run from 50-to-75, thinking up 50% is more likely than any time in the last year. I said this after I felt a double bottom / head and shoulders was in.

Just because I am not widly bullish predicting $1000 gold, does not mean that I have not been more positive near term.
