I think the arguments listed were quite weak, starting with the fact that the writer doesn't know the exact number of registered black voter, then uses the lowest possible number to insinuate that over 100% of black voters voted.

The Democrat party did a lot of voter turnout work, and it's clear from the reports of informed observers that black turnout increased significantly from 1996 to 2000, due to the turnout campains and black anger with Jeb Bush's stand on affirmative action.

The 50% increase figure is suspect, though, and may be based on faulty exit polls and optimistic estimates by Democratic party workers. However, I'd prefer to see a careful analysis based on available numbers, not loose arguments on squishy numbers and insinuations.
