I think that was a coincidence. I believe it happened before I posted. I noted that it was no longer on the hot list. I looked at the time and thought that it certainly was before midnight EST. I don't know when the hotlist resets.

I am not sure if it is fair to say this shows that the hot list isindeed manipulated.

Although, it would appear that way. From a programming perspective it might be fairly easy to totally remove a thread but I wonder what it would take to insert a thread at a certain level and maintain it.

Perhaps Bob would like to answer who removes threads from the hot list such as happened tonight. There is no question in my mind that it was manually removed. It would not have totally dropped off the hot list like that given the activity, etc even if the hot list just reset itself before midnight EST.

I posted at 11:11 and there is a post from TLC at 11:18 noting that it was off the hot list. I do not remember the exact time that I noticed it was no longer on the hot list.

I don't think it would have happened that fast if it were to happen because of my post. I think it was already in the works to get it off the hot list. Just my opinion.
