RE: Suspicious activity with Hot Subjects, Stock Talk lists on Silicon Investor

Thanks for your help last week.
I directed this post to Scott on the Welcome to Silicon Investor thread over a week ago and never got a response. Now I am asking you if you can give us some answers in regard to that post. Please take out the name Scott and insert Jeff. <S>
I believe that all of the lists, subjects that are HOT, TOP sites etc., are not working properly. I and others have observed them for quite sometime now. SI should be made aware of it as it could be very misleading for many people. Please read my previous posts here where I copied and pasted what some of us observed this evening.
One thread in particular, New Market Gems seems to be always somewhere between #1 and #5 spot. Tonight it was #1 and #2 for quite some time, but just changed. We are all aware that the threads that are in the spots from #1 to #5 will also show up on the busiest boards at TheStreet.com and at the metamarkets.com site. We also know that TheStreet.com is partnered with Silicon Investor from previous post that was possibly posted here.
As I said previously, the lists must be broken or either SI is purposely making sure Market Gems is in top spots. Please respond to this last sentence as this is all suspicious activity in my opinion as well as others. I think that Silicon Investor might want to openly clear the air on this subject for all of us. My post is #15239

Could you tell please tell me what company is handling your Hot Subjects or is it the Silicon Investor that has a system that is in charge of them?
Also, are they updated every hour or at a specific time each day, and if at a specific time, what time is that and what period does that cover. Such as it starts at 12 am this morning and covers until 12 am tommorow.
What is the criteria for getting on the list? How many posts are posted on the particular thread?
I noticed that....SI Jail Mail Express™ 124 7:11 PM is from yesterday and it is in 12th place now, it was in 12th place and at May 22, 2001 1:27 PM ET it was in 10th place on the Hot Subjects list. I printed out the list if you need to see it from May 22, 2001 1:27 PM ET.
I do not know where to go for that information so would you please post it here. I know others were asking about it also on some threads.
