I did notice that short positions have dropped by about three hundred thousand over the past 2 months. This is very encouraging. Izzat so? I always thought the line was that an INCREASE in short position was supposed to be encouraging as it provided more potential upside via the short squeeze. Frankly I see that figure as nothing more than a sign that this stock has gotten dull. I mean, we just had a huge two-month run in the market and GUMM basically sat it out. Its PR machine has gone quiet. Heck, just look at the way posting volume on this thread has collapsed. There's really very little here to keep the shorts and with so many other stocks having amazing and in many cases very silly run-ups it's little wonder the shorts have wandered away from this snoozefest. Don't worry, if this thing ever starts showing signs of life again the shorts will be back. Count on that.
