I don't argue this because I have no idea why the dollar is "strong". In my lifetime the dollar has wandered up and down the scale quite a bit without my noticing it, hardly, except for the price of the one thing I can't find an adequate substitute for here in the US, genuine Reggiano parmesan cheese. Other things also have no adequate substitute, such as genuine Roquefort cheese, but I can live without them.
