Optimizing a program for size can be extremely difficult and time consuming. I'm a writer, not a programmer, but I'm cringing, too. Writing "tight" is much more difficult than running long. It's not just Palm apps, though. Compare the non-upgrade price of something like MS Office with the price of the computer it runs on. Katherine
