Nothing about "intimate relations" there. "Intimate relations" implies only one thing. It's a euphemism for having sex with someone.
I had many Batswana friends, personal friends, mostly women, during my five years in there. I also had many expat, mostly American friends, who themselves had many personal friends who were Batswana. Women talk. Therefore it is safe to say without fear of contradiction, in the context that was at hand, that "I have known, personally and well, many more African girls-- and women-- than you have."
(Remember, I assumed, incorrectly, that everyone knew i was a woman. (Everyone but you did; you just happened to miss some background.))
That did not mean I had "intimate relations" with them, twt. That was settled and understood a long time ago. I am surprised the words "intimate relations" showed up here, even prefaced with a qualifier. It implies something false.
So here's the deal, Thomas:
I am female.
I am married.
I am straight.
I am not promiscuous.
I know a lot more about the sexual lives of African women than you do, I strongly suspect.
Are you grasping this?
I'd appreciate the link to that conversation, since clearly you found it. I would be very interested to see what you said in that conversation. And I strongly suspect there is a reason you have not provided the link. |
