i agree that the violence is terrible and that it has to stop. but the reality is this: the palestinians are a desperate people fighting for over 50 years for their land. even if arafat agrees to all the peace treaties in the world, do you really think he has any control over his own people to stop the violence if they are not treated fairly? look at it that way...
