I taught myself to play when I was a grade school kidlet.
(Took several years of piano lessons so it wasn't hard
to pick up the guitar)

I had the 12 string and a nylon 6 string I acquired
in high school. Used to play both once in a while
until some stupid construction workers helped themselves.

MrL and I were just discussing this yesterday.
I've been thinking of buying a new one.
The problem is that I have zero calluses and
guitars and long nails do not mix very well:-)
