And when I saw distinquished NCOs getting kicked out merely for incurring a DUI (guilty or not), and they introduced "stress cards" and low-impact basic training, I figured I didn't want to risk my life with "today's military".

And considering they were shipping folks over to fun-loving placed like Kosovo and Bosnia, it seemed like a good time to leave.
