Jane's Defense is the premier politico-military analysis pub worldwide recognized by everyone as one of the best, most objective, source for defense info and analysis. Stratfor has shown in its own short lifespan to be a damn fine, objective strategic analysis company. Show me one single instance at either publication which would indicate they are "right wing." As to Taiwan being an analog of Cuba, you are doubly shameless. Castro overthrew a government and invited a hostile power, and nuclear missiles, off our shore. Taiwan was founded by the nationalist government of China in exile, evolved into a thriving democracy, is being threatened to be re-incorporated into mainland China by force if necessary. Cuba may not wish to be rid of Castro, but Taiwan increasingly wishes to be rid of mainland China, for good. Where is the analog?
