yeah, yeah, yeah. how about two-way communication on demand? the telephone was just coming into it's own in the 30's and i suppose being able to call someone and speak to them on demand was nifty back then too!

yeah well they had a new thing called the radio back then. think of all the entertainment and business opportunities generated through radio sales and advertising! they also had new fangled ways of entertaining themselves like motion pictures back then. more entertainment, more business. after all movies had to be made. movie theaters constructed. concession stands! of course there was always something bigger and better just over the horizon. television!!!! radio but with PICTURES! woo-hoo! automobiles became widespread. air travel took off in the 30's with the introduction of the DC-3 which must have seemed pretty monumentous back then!

WE STILL HAD A DEPRESSION!
