An important part of this CY disappointment is that TJ Rodgers is nothing if not candid. Look at what he says: It's as much a lack of demand as it is high inventory. Yet you wouldn't know that looking at any of the communications chip makers, which actually traded UP last week after Cisco warned of reduced spending by many of its customers. I've been talking about this "demand" issue for several days in my column. As CY shows, for communications chip makers at least, it's very serious...and very real
