On ESS: Well, I warned long ago on the ESS thread that it's PCI audio not VCD that would give ESS it's problems. Everyone was so caught up in this CUBE vs ESS VCD crap, that they missed the other problems, that would add to their demise. OK so now they have Platform technologies, Platforms claim to fame? PCI and DOS compatibility, maybe that will help or will it? I've seen people wearing shirts around here that say: Windows95 & DirectX DOS is dead get over it. Did ESST spend their money wisely? That's it, I will say no more on the subject.
