Reagan flooded the economy with cash but ran up the biggest deficits in history. Because the Soviet Union fell it might have been worth it however now the GOP is pushing for a missile system we don't even need as if the Cold War is still going. That could cost 400 billion and might not even work. The same price paid for the Reagan era S+L debacle which we are still paying for. Also Bush is no Reagan. Reagan knew how to inspire the people, at least until he started getting Alzheimers disease during his second term and started falling asleep on the job.
