The flurries fly across the sky
to find the hills of yesteryear,
the rain falls heavy which breaks the levy
for the scents of life are coming near.

And in the distant view,
I hear the sounds that filled the air,
and in my mind I hue,
that of which I deeply care.

And when the night falls into sight,
I sink into a light daydream,
For in the dark do we embark,
the lofty souls of sunlight beam.

For with this day I cry,
slumping over the new day dawn
I know of love that filled the sky,
To know that we must carry on.
