I have met many Christians who have no problem at all with any name used for the same entity. Christians are a very diverse group with many sects adhering to many things. The God of Abraham is the God all Christians recognize and this specific entity is repeatedly referenced throughout the Quran by many titles and names. Allah means the Most High. The Most Compassionate, Most Merciful etc. Do a search on the 99 names of Allah and you will get the picture.

"If so why do you think that the Christians would object?"

Most don't, some do. Some, like you, are very "patriotic" to the religion/nationality of their culture and so are happy to find any issue at all. There are some essential differences in perspective that are worthy of discussion. This one is petty.

You should ask yourself a couple of questions. In the King James version of the Bible it is clear that God has established his covenent with both Isreal and Ishmael. Arabs are decendants of Ishmael. Be careful of just picking any old battle about the Word of God. It may be God you are mocking. You should make a sincere attempt to look into it before just engaging in opposition.

I have seen this criticism many times and several other "standards" Christian tracts titled, "Questions to ask a Muslim." These tracts are probably effective at unnerving or confusing a Muslim who doesn't know his own religion, or for children. The same things could be done regarding Christian doctrine. Ask your self why we don't do that? If your answer is that the doctrine is to sound to criticise...see ya later.
