14:35 ET Check Point Sftwr (CHKP) 50.30 -4.87: -- Update -- Israeli site themarker.com reporting that CHKP's CEO denies rumor that
company will release a revenue warning. Briefing.com would note that the CEO appears to be responding to a specific version of the rumor
that is not prevalent. The market is focussed on talk that a survey by Off The Record Research reveals the company's sales and pricing are

14:34 ET Sector Watch: Semiconductor : -- Technical -- The index (SOX at 604) and a number of individual issues continue to vacillate
at or within easy reach of their respective 50 day moving average (609). Short term, without a sustained push back through the moving
average and 611/613 area it will remain vulnerable. Failure leaves the door open initially to support at 596.

14:02 ET Kelley Resigning : Fed Governor Kelley has announced that he will resign from the Board as soon as 1 of the 2 currently vacant
seats is filled. Kelley is one of the longest serving governors, having been appointed by Reagan in 1987. He is not seen as particularly dovish
or hawkish and his departure will therefore have little impact on Fed policy.
