The ``Hot Doughnuts Now'' sign will light up for the first time on Long Island on Tuesday, June 5 as Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. (NYSE: KKD - news) opens it's new store in East Meadow. Located at Clearwater Mall on the corner of Newbridge Road and Hempstead Turnpike, the store will open its doors ready to serve hot, fresh Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnuts to customers at 6:00 a.m.

The new East Meadow store will feature the signature ``Hot Doughnuts Now'' neon sign, which glows in the morning and evening every day to alert customers that hot, fresh Original Glazed doughnuts are ready to be eaten. Through the store's glass windows, customers will be able to enjoy a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the doughnut-making process. The store's convenient drive-thru service, the first Krispy Kreme drive-thru in Metropolitan New York, will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Counter service hours will be from 6:00 a.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 6:00 a.m. to 1 a.m., Friday and Saturday. |
