Kanetsu and Moufassa - couldn't agree with your energy comments more. Thats why I made the post about some energy stocks for the summer earlier. This country has basically stopped any new refinery from being built with all the obtrusive regulations. One reason I like VLO, which is buying one of their competitors - and will just be able to print money when that occurs. And the politicians in California are bozo's. They dug themselves into the hole they are in by implementing a deregulation plan in a faulty manner - and now that it backfired on them, they want the feds to bail them out. If they would allow new capacity to be built and come on line in California, that would help - but too many liberal tree huggers out there I guess to allow it to occur. And derregulation does work - I happen to live in a state where it has been very successful - and where I have seen reduced energy costs. But it has to be done the right way. In any case, we know it will get worse this summer - so we might as well profit from it where we can.
